- Certified In-Home Aide Manual
Welcome to the Certified In-Home Aide Manual homepage.
This manual was developed as a Department of Elementary and Secondary Education grant funded project for 2006 in cooperation with the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services. This manual and supporting materials were developed to help recruit, train and stabilize the home care workforce by outlining guidelines for in-home aides under a certification process. Ideally, a certification for in-home aides would be portable throughout the state. However, as of this date, the certification and portability issues have not been resolved. If as you review the manual, you find typographical or formatting errors, please contact Nathan Wittmaier at the Missouri Center for Career Education with your comments.
