Welcome to the Certified Medication Technician Manual homepage.
The 2008 Certified Medication Technician: Student Manual was developed in collaboration with the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS) as a Department of
Elementary and Secondary Education grant funded project for 2005/2006. Further development
was conducted and updates were added to the manual in 2008 to provide the most current information possible.
Additionally, a DHSS approved test bank and secure online delivery system was developed as
supporting materials for the CMT course. The test-bank and manual were piloted in 2006,
amended based on the pilot findings, and updated in 2008. Usage of this test bank will also
be required for students to receive CMT certification. An Instructor's packet accompanies the
2008 CMT manual and is available through the secure online delivery system for classroom use. For additional

with your comments or questions.
This manual is provided online in PDF format as the primary means for distribution. For those who may have difficulty printing the entire document, an order form is available for print materials including the CMT Student Manual.
